Lisa Richards, MSN, FNP-BC, is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner specializing in hepatology, with over 20 years of experience. She serves as the Assistant Director of Clinical Research Operations at UC San Diego's NAFLD Research Center. Her focus is on Nonalcoholic Fatty Liver Disease (NAFLD), and she works closely with Dr. Rohit Loomba. She has been recognized for her leadership and expertise, receiving the Associate-Fellow designation from the American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases (AASLD) in 2020. Lisa is also actively involved in both clinical practice and research, co-investigating various liver disease studies.
